Delete your Frettko account

In the app

1. Open Frettko and make sure you're signed in.
2. Tap the profile icon at the top of the screen to open your profile.
3. Scroll down and tap “Delete account”.
4. Type the word shown on screen and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the address you use for your Frettko account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll delete the account and its data within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.

If you write from a different address, we'll ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete anything.

Used Frettko without an account?

Then your progress is linked to a random ID, not to your name. It's deleted automatically after 180 days without a learning session. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your phone. Started signing up but never confirmed your email? Write to us from that address and we'll delete everything.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play or the App Store, otherwise the store keeps charging you. How to cancel

What we delete

• Your account: email address, password and sign-in details, including a linked Google account
• Learning progress, statistics, word mastery and streaks
• Your Frettko+ status and free-time gifts
• Usage events linked to your account
• Feedback you sent from the app

What stays for a limited time

• Crash reports without your name or email: deleted automatically within 90 days
• Short-term backups and technical logs at our hosting provider: overwritten within days
• Data on your phone (settings, favourites, downloaded recordings): removed when you uninstall the app
• Purchase records: Apple and Google keep theirs under their own rules; our subscription provider deletes its record on request
